Jay Reatard was completely unknown to me until about a week ago. Where the fuck have I been, this kid kills it with his garage punk style, throwing some David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Ramones in a chop salad and pooring a guitar style that takes me back to Dinasour Jr.. I have not bee this enthralled by garage punk sense The Decedents days, oh yes, but, hold on a minute before everyone gets to excited, as I was, he died January 13, 2011 . Fuck just missed it....
