COOP : Idle Hands : July 15

I love COOP, not just for his hill billy sex crime art style, but also his love of Japanese vinyl toys and involvement in the scene.

This solo show is to take place at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City CA, opening July 15, 2011.

As quoted by Juxtapoz magazine COOP says“Pulp magazines, more overt sexuality and a little more deliberate provocation are on display this time around" will be the theme of the show, and what do you know I happen to love all of those things.

Between this the Tim Burton exhibit at the LACMA and Art in the "Streets" at the MOCA, I will have to make a grand tour around LA for some kick ass art.
