Scott Campbell's work speaks volumes to our current economical situation. Cutting up thousands of dollars into scenes of death and punk rock / skate imagery gives a big middle finger to our government and they way they burn our money on over payed often lazy workers whom we have no say in. Can we buy a new government? I do not want this one anymore. Money is a fucking illusion anyways.
This was at the OHWOW gallery, which was generally a nice place. I do not think his artwork quite filled out the space well enough, and there was an awkward model hoy-ti toy-ti looking chick keeping an eye on the work that would come out and pretend to look at it to make sure we weren't stealing anything. She needed like a chair or something. Mr. Campbell's work was rage inspiring none the less.
